A big thanks to everyone who turned up for our Easter Egg Run. We had roughly 450 bikes, scoots,
mopeds, monkey bikes and 1 trike and I have no idea how many Easter eggs were handed over. This
turnout was despite some folk being under the impression that the run wasn't until the 23rd and
also some weasel(s) telling some story about the run being canned due to it being amalgamated with
the other run that day.
For those of you who weren't there, Yorkhill Hospital has erected a plaque as a thank you to us
and our supporters for all runs that have been done for them and this was unveiled after we had all
arrived. Much as we enjoy doing these runs it's good to see that what we do is appreciated and, by
erecting the plaque, Yorkhill have shown us how much they appreciate our and your efforts.
Here are some of the photos we have of this year's run and, as ever, we have to thank Tam from
the Mercury MCC (check out their web site) for supplying
some of them.
The guy presenting the cheque to Joe skinner of Yorkhill Hospital is Bob Wark, Chairman of
Strathgryffe MCC and the cheque is for money raised by that club. Good effort folks and thanks.
Have a look at their website.
