As ever a big thank you to everyone who turned up for our Easter Egg Run. Thankfully, contrary
to all the weather forecasts, it stayed dry and we had roughly 800 bikes, scoots, mopeds, trikes
and 1 monkey bike with I have no idea how many Easter eggs being handed over as well as just
over £1,650.
The run seemed to go smoothly enough but I did notice, close to the end of the run, one bike at the side of the road with a burst radiator - hope you got home okay mate! Due to the numbers involved it took a long time for everyone to go up to Yorkhill's canteen where the eggs were to be dropped off and there wasn't enough room for everyone to stay and listen to the thank you speeches from us and Yorkhill. Looks like we need to look at that for next year. However, Joe Skinner from the Yorkhill Hospitals has sent us a letter thanking everyone for their efforts. Click the link below to view the letter. |
