Meet at SECC 12:00 noon for a 12:30pm start
Bring along Easter Egg(s) for the kids and/or donation for Yorkhill Children's Foundation.
Riders of motorbikes, scooters, trikes and mopeds and all levels of experience are welcome.

WHAT'S HAPPENING AT THE END OF THE RUN?

Due to the large number of people attending the run these days there are too many for Yorkhill to cope with.
The first 3,000 (or so) to arrive at our SECC assembly point will be allowed to finish the run at Yorkhill.
Everyone else will need to follow the marshals through Yorkhill and back to the SECC. (See the routes here)

DONATIONS

Adobe Our donation form is designed to allow you to take advantage of GiftAid which increases the value of any donation you make.

WHERE DO ALL THE EGGS GO?

Thousands of Easter Eggs are collected every year and there are too many for Yorkhill alone so they are distributed throughout the Trust that Yorkhill is part of. Here is a list of all the places they go to -

  • All hospital areas
    (including outpatients and patients' siblings)
  • The community midwives
(some who visit poorer areas where children may not get Easter eggs)
  • Community Health visitors
  • Home care team
  • Little Sister's of Charity
  • Down's Association
  • Home for Adults with learning difficulties,
    Balshagray House, Balshagray Drive, Broomhill.
  • Ward 8, Gartnavel psychiatric Hospital,
    Shelley Road.

However, the team at Yorkhill Hospital have offered to deliver Easter Eggs to other hospitals, so if you would like yours to go to Southern General, Western Infirmary, RAH or wherever then just let us know as your handing them in.

MARSHALS

I'm sure you'll appreciate a run of this size requires plenty of marshals for it to run smoothly.

Are you willing to volunteer your services as a marshal? No previous experience is required, just the ability to follow instructions given by marshal team leaders and the ability to arrive before 10:00am.

Think you can do it? Want more information?
Go to our Contacts page and let us know.

SUPPORT VAN

As ever, our trusty mechanic Hans will be there with the support van so if your bike breaks down or gets a puncture during the run he will be there to help you get it up and running again. If he has trouble getting your bike going again you will have the option of putting it in the back of the van to get to Yorkhill/SECC where you can catch up with your mates. It'll then be up to you whether you still want him to try and fix your bike or contact your own recovery service.

Only a nominal fee will be charged to cover the cost of any spares required.
